Turbulent Flow Data
The below image set shows nine out of 30
sequential images of a Mach 2.5 jet of air/carbon dioxide
mixture, acquired with the PSI Ultra-Fast Framing CCD
Camera, operating at 1,000,000 frames/sec with pulsed
laser illumination. Each frame is separated in time
by one micro second. Flow is upward from the bottom
of the frame to the top. (Please be patient while the
images load...)
